One standard page targets 240 finished words. Writing and requested writing revisions use one credit per 240 completed words, rounded upward to 0.1 credit and capped by the approved quote. Each generated cover direction costs 50 credits.
200 standard pages = 48,000 finished words: up to 200 writing credits + 50 for one cover. Books made with credits support up to 500 standard pages / 120,000 finished words. Physical PDF pages depend on layout.
The planner is inside the desktop app after transcription. It shows the minimum source words for your page count and editorial choice. A 200-page target requires at least 41,740 source words for Keep it close, 30,000 for Add a little, 21,334 for Build it out, or 16,000 for Make it big. The updated source-review workflow counts unique content after repeats are collapsed. Its baseline is 100 unique words and 256 characters, plus enough original material for your selected target and editorial level. The source may be at most three times the target words. All four choices use the same writing tools and credit rate.
Manual edits, formatting, exports and resizing saved artwork use no credits. The quoted maximum is held while writing. Delivered work is charged once, and unused credits stay in your balance. System failures and automatic repairs add no credit charge. Buying credits does not automatically start generation.
